Ok guys,
I am working on a new trailer ad for our up and coming line of trailers. I want to make it look like the trailer is coming off of the trials actual ad and continuing on to the page of the magazine. I have see it done and think it would be a sweet way to grab the attention of the buyers. Any and all help would be appreciated. I do know that I will need to save the file as a png to get it blend but I need more help with getting the image to pop.

here is a rough rendering of the trailer from solidworks no touch up done. But you will get the idea of what I am trying to do.

If you can throw a groundcast shadow on there, I might be able to help you out a bit.

I can try but the rendering takes a while. I have been doing a final render for a little over 4 hours and I still have another 7 before this one image is done. (In its defense these models are huge and not even scaled down)

And thank you dirty, I am also kinda wondering how would I do it. Would I set a background as transparent (the total image size) then create a second smaller background that actually contains the images (grass/sky) and then on the top layer drop the trailer in and blend everything together?
I am sure I left out a lot but I am just seeing if I have a general understanding of the concept.

I like the second one with the font on the bottom description. Looks more professional, IMO.

Thanks Diryt, but I still am waiting for one more image to render. I want a close up of the hopper because that is the main selling point of this trailer. One question where did you get that font? I have been looking for the font style that is in your sig and I can't seem to find it.

A full page? Or just a little box on a page filled with other advertisements?

It won't be a full page. I have not seen the spot where it is going, so I can only guess that it will be with other ads or mixed into the articles some where along the lines

Alright! Just a tip, if I'm designing something and I don't know what kind of product it is going on, I generally design it at a pretty high resolution just to make sure it will look as good as it can when printed :).
