I got bored tonight and decided to give Photoshop an actual try. Took me about 6 hours to get everything done and figure out how to do some of the stuff since this was my first time using it.

I wanted to see how my truck would look with black rims and specifically the stock chrome ones painted black since I can't afford a brand new set of rims right now. Then jsut fr fun I tried to see what the running board would like like in black and finally I removed my STX 4x4 sticker and badge from the side.

First attempt at making wheel black:

Both wheels and running board black:

And finally, no STX sticker or badges:

Looks good man, I don't think you would be too far off if you hit those steels with some gloss black spray!

Thanks everybody, I just might give this a try on the real thing, that is after it gets back from the shop.

start googling photoshop tutorials and go from there so you get familiar with the tools.

I have never liked watching tutorials on how to do things, I prefer to push buttons until either one of two things happens:

1. It does what I want it to.
2. It breaks.

Also, I am not very good at following tutorials so I don't even try.

Tutorials are great man i prefer the step by step personally to get to know the tools.(Video tutorials suck IMO) The more tools you learn how to use the better the end result bro.

I've used a handful of tutorials for cool stuff like how to make it look like it is snowing in a pic, or how to make a 3d globe. Otherwise, I've learned everything on my own through exploration and practice.
