Well its friday, I saw the word bar and it got me to thinking what is your favorite brew? I am hoping to discover some new good ones :D
My top favorites have to be:
Guinness
Rolling Rock
Boulevard
Nebraska Nut (local brew, has a slight nuttiness, but reminds me of a boulevard)

Don't drink much beer. For casual drinking, I like the Mike's hard lemonade series.

Not a bad beer my friend. I'm kinda partial to Boulevard Wheat (brewery in KC). Mainstream beer would be Corona, or Guinness. :D

I like different types of beer. Other great beers I've had are Newcastle Brown, Stella Artois, Negra Modello, and Red Stripe.

+1 on the red stripe
I also don't mind fosters every now and then. As long as it is a nice hearty beer odds are I like it. I don't mind a light beer every now and then. When I do go for a light beer I like Michelob ultra.

What would you describe a majic hat as? It has sparked my interest.

Favorite beer right now is Ninkasi Brewing Total Domination IPA.http://www.ninkasibrewing.com/. Its brewed in Eugene Oregon... Because its a newer beer... My second is probably Stone IPA.http://www.stonebrew.com/ipa/. For a more mainstream beer that you guys should know....nevermind. I drink mostly Micros.. Corona on a hot day when I cant get a hold of McMenamins Ruby brew..http://www.mcmenamins.com/

In my college days, Killians and Augustiner sufficed very well for broadening my "Miller" tastes. Nowadays, I've got a list of "favorites" that is longer than the product list of any of the major breweries. Of course, with my nick being what it is, you can imagine why...

Now we're talking! I see you're nearby too! (I'm in La Center, WA). I'm personally a huge fan of Belgian styles - especially the Belgian sours and Lambics, but anything that has more color than green tea will work for me in a pinch. :D
Current favorites would be any of the Belgian sours from Cascade Brewing in SE Portland (Cuvee, Kriek, Sang Royale, The Vine). Also the Deschutes "Dissident" from last year was awesome, and I recently fell in love with Pangea from Dogfish Head. From the Midwest, there was a Cherry Porter from Port Washington, WI when I was in college that was incredible, as well as Cream City Pale Ale from Lakefront Brewing, and just about ANYTHING from New Glarus Brewing near Madison.
I could keep going, but I've got to run...and don't want to write a novel on a forum!
